about
The first song made for the album! Featuring Ore from the time she helped me out playing top trumpet one after school practice session. I think we all know if I tried to play that high, with my trumpet skills, it would not be that stellar. Major props.
Fun Fact: This song probably went through as much or more editing than Decisions, for the same reasons - I needed to put everything to a click track. Again, I understand that those are important now, haha.
lyrics
someday, in the future
crowds will be screaming your name, do do doo
and, i know, that youll get there, somehow, do do doo
maybe, theres a shot for me too, do do doo
so, i can learn how you saw it through
maybe ill meet you again
we wont be stars but well try to pretend
why need fame when you still have friends, i ask
<solo>
</solo>
today, i heard you
on the radio, do do doo
and, though i know its still you
something different came through 'cause
youre not the friend who i used to know
the thing about fame is that it changed you for the show
i was trying to join you but now im not so sure anymore
maybe ill meet you again
youll be a star and ill try to pretend
why need fame when you still have a friend, i ask
maybe ill meet you again
when youre no longer a star but theres no need to pretend
why need fame? what did you need to mend, i ask
and after the madness of all this has passed
would you wait here for me?
you could have fixed me one more time, and id have come up there with you
but maybe come back tonight
